Below you will find a list of businesses outside of Argentina that either offer Argentinean-style cuts of meat or will make an effort to recreate such cuts. If there are no businesses in your area, here are a few tips:
- Check for any Argentinean restaurants in your area. I’ve come across quite a few restaurants that either sell cuts of meat and chorizo in the restaurant or have an attached grocery store. If not, I’m sure they can point you in the right direction.
- Have access to a military commissary (particularly in the U.S.) or know someone who does? Ask their meat department if they can do special cuts by request. Many different cultures pass through these installations so special requests are often not uncommon.
- Check for any Latin American markets in your area regardless of their target market, be it Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican, etc. There is a good chance they are familiar with Southern Cone asado cuts.
