New & Improved

Whew, am I glad that I could finally ditch that horrendous old theme I ruined beyond repair. It was like those cartoons where one of the characters causes a leak in dam, plugs it up, and then another one appears. Except in this case, instead of leaks appearing, if I tried to reposition one thing another would move somewhere else. Then there was just a bunch of other problems that really made the site look like crap.

Also, I’ve been trying to put a plan into action, that I mentioned a while back, about integrating some new stuff, yet keeping it somewhat separate. Another reason why I needed to find a good theme. One that would fit my requirements but could be changed easily enough, logo/color scheme-wise, to use for different topics and still retain a certain similarity.

Well, Zeke 1.0 + Widgets, the foundation theme for what you see here, answered my prayers. A few extra plug-ins and now things are looking awesome. Probably experimented with 10-15 different themes over the past few months before reaching this point. Just need to find another theme to act as a hub and then get started on building the other sections. Maybe in 10 years it will all be ready
